I will like to appreciate you for checking back on this page. It has been a very busy season. The word of God must be preached, engaged, and taught everywhere. It’s a new series on this blog titled “It’s been your thinking” and I hope to see you read through every part.
In the last few days, I have seen how people have delivered just by a shift in their thinking. A shift in your thought is a shift in your life. If you are trying to create a shift in your life, it won’t happen until that shift is created in your thought. This is because the outcome of your thoughts is what your life becomes.
Prov. 23:7a makes it clear that we are exactly what thought is. So, if you think your life is not what it should be, you should check your thinking. Change your thought and you will change your life. It’s as simple as that. Nothing is complex about it except you make it complex for yourself.
Even our education is centered around this simple truth. To make someone an engineer, he spends five years in the university just to make him think like an engineer and see himself as one. The same goes for every other profession. All we do in colleges and universities irrespective of the level of education is to influence our thinking and we call it education.
So, if you are staying so long in a problem, it’s because your current pattern of thoughts keeps you there. Well, if you don’t change it, nothing changes. If you think it’s still a problem, then it is. Also, if you think you are the problem, then you are. If you think everyone is against you, it’s only a matter of time, everyone will start moving against you.
You have waited too long in a challenge because you think you are synonymous with the problem but that’s not true. You need to arise and change your thought about you. As long you keep thinking you are the problem, you will always have your thought come to play out in your life.
