In furtherance of our discussion yesterday, I promised to continue with the steps today. If you are yet to read it, please go here. Thank you for staying tuned and checking back. I really do appreciate. Today, we will look at the Adamic nature.
The Adamic Nature
The first step is to know your current position as a human being. If you intend to do anything, you will need to begin from where you are. Everyone is born a sinner by reason of the Adamic nature (Romans 3:10) we came with. This is because Adam was created in God’s image (Genesis 1:26) but he went his own way when he rebelled. It was after his rebellion to God that he gave birth which means his children were after his rebellion image not of God (Genesis 4). Romans 3:23 gives clarity on our position and what it means. If you want to do self righteousness, you may need to take a look at 1 John 1:8. Just take a moment to think about these verses.
Now that we know how we came with Adamic nature and where it places us with God. It is important that it is never God’s intention for us to remain in that position. It was Adam rebellion that threw us out of the garden of God. God never intended that we will be outside His garden. If anyone will ever return, he must follow God’s provision. God’s provision is what is generally referred to salvation. So if you intend to meet with God and have access to Him forever after death, you must embrace the salvation plan. God hinted the salvation plan in Genesis 3:15 to show you His great love for us.
There Is Only One Way
Interestingly, there are many ways to do some things but as far as salvation is concerned, there is only one way. Apostle Peter emphasized this while preaching on the day of Pentecost (Acts 4:12). It was confirmed by the Apostle Paul while writing to the Church at Corinth (1 Corinthians 3:11). Jesus himself said this (John 10:9). In the face of these witnesses this singular truth is proclaimed and shown. There is no other back to God’s garden other than through Jesus.
