God needs everyone of us to be in continuous relationship with Him. It’s quite unfortunate that this has never bothered humanity. Apart from the fact that we are created to worship Him (Psalm 86:9). He longs to have an intimate relationship with everyone of us.
This is evidence in the garden of Eden. We can see how God usually pay them a visit in cool of the day until the destroyer came (Genesis 3:1). In fact, it was in one of those visits (Genesis 3:8) that God judged man for following the devil. What do you think God was coming to do with Adam and Eve? Of course, He was coming to relate with them. They lost it when they followed devil and made the whole world to lost as well because we were all in their loins. That’s how mankind inherited the path of death.
As God was driving them out, He instantly made a provision as revealed in Genesis 3:18. This is because that relationship was and is still important to God. God delight in the relationship with His children. So He gave His only begotten son to gain more children (John 3:16). The issue is, so many people are not even coming into the plan God created to reinstate the relationship. Have you come into the plan at all? You must come into the plan before you can create and enjoy the relationship with God.
Be Sure You Are In
There people who said they have come into the plan but they don’t have any relationship with God. Such people are only deceiving themselves. The proof that you have come into the plan will be evident in your relationship with Him. And if truly, you have a relationship with Him, it ought to be moving from one level to the other. By this, I mean that you will know Him more because He already knows you (John 2:25). If your knowledge of Him is not increasing, it means either your relationship with Him is not healthy or you have not come into the plan at all.
The great Apostle Paul gave a great advice in Philippians 2:12. He admonish us to work out our own salvation with fear and trembling. You will need to work. After you have come into the salvation plan by grace, it your duty to labour to remain in it and grow through it. The growing is where the relationship with God surfaces and deepens. You must strive to keep that relationship no matter what. You will need to seek out God and follow His perspective at all times.
What You Need To DO Now
That is why the great Apostle exclaimed in Philippians 3:10
“That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death;”
Are you hoping to have that intimate relationship with God? If yes, you need to first come into the salvation plan with the whole of your heart. That is to accept and believe that Jesus died for your sins. And then surrender to Him as your personal Lord and Saviour now. Do it now, don’t postpone your salvation. The Lord Jesus is waiting to receive you.
If you have prayed that prayer, endeavour to visit a Bible believing church around you. See the man of God in charge and begin to fellowship with them. God bless you real good. For questions and comments, please forward to email@example.com
